This photo is perfect. The sepia tone is really great, but I'm biased because I love sepia. The foggy trees were enough to catch my eye as a photo that stands out, but with the bicycle underneath that just adds that extra special element. A photo like this would've been good with just the trees, with the bike it's great. Really well done.

I'm very impressed with the flatness (lack of depth and simplicty) of the image. Sepia does do a good job with the monochromatic aperance (though I'd be curious to see how somethig along the lines of a blue toner would look like [link] - yep, I know its not a traditional print, but I still like the tone of a blue toner - or maybe partialy blue toned? ).

The snow on the trees give the trunks of the trees the only indication of three-diemsionality.

It is well composed - nothing cut out of the frame that should be in the frame, and nothing in the frame that should be out of it. The bicycle gives a wonderful sense of scale that would otherwise be lost (wouldn't know if that was bonsi or giant trees).

Excelent work.

The simplicity of this capture is amazing! I love it! And I agree with puppypowa and shagie concerning the bike, it really adds to the photo, giving it a sense of scale.
:iconraun:
Incredible photo! As shagie said, the bicycle is confuse my sense of scale; are these giant trees or is the bicycle just further away. Also adore your toning. This foggy day series (as I've seen on photo.net is one of the most complete and impressive series I've seen). Wow, its so nice to see your images here on deviantart. I've adored your photos for a long time, and its just great to see you here :-D

you may like my work, but do you know me?
:icondc-10:
I love how you've managed to break a scene into it's most basic elements, and then present it so elegantly. It's the human touch of the boy on his bike that really does it for me in this photo though. Very well done.

that is so beautiful! i love thee trees and that little bike. but what i love most are the hues and the atmosphere you created  wonderful in every way :+fav:
